I was dying these days to tell you about something cool, and it is called brazia.tv. Who knows me well knows how much I struggle to maintain a healthy life. It does not matter if you’re fat or thin, what do matters is if you’re healthy. Being fat or thin is not an indicator that you’re healthy okay? Believe me. I’m mostly categorized as a thin person (friends help me out here) but my latests blood tests showed me quite serious problems in my cholesterol and triglycerides. I almost freaked out because my doctor gave me a ‘pamphlet’ listing all the foods I could really eat, I mean all that food fit in just ten tiny text lines in a piece of paper. My first reaction was most likely related to despair, changing a routine is definitely not easy. In addition to a healthy diet, I would also be required to do some exercises. It’s not been very easy, I confess, specially because in college you don’t have time, not even to eat, and when you do, you might not have access to healthy foods at all.
One of the aims of stretching exercises is to increase muscle flexibility. The more a muscle is stretched , greater the joint movement commanded by that muscle and therefore higher flexibility. In my case, since I already run at least three times a week. I was given abdominal and muscle exercises, exercises you can do at home using very simple things like bean bags, water bottles and even professional equipment (if you want) can be used if it is of easy access.
