Rich in vitamin E, rice helps to exfoliate the skin and make it smoother. This natural ingredient has been used in traditional Japanese skin care treatments for generations. Here, we show you how to make your own rice milk cleanser. While it is possible to add moisture to this cleanser with plain water, it is much better to use rice milk as it includes retinol-building vitamin A and protective calcium.
INGREDIENTS:
¼ c brown rice flour (or rice bran flour)
2-3 tablespoons pure organic rice milk
INSTRUCTIONS:
Mix the brown rice flour and rice milk until you form a smooth paste.
Simply massage the rice milk cleanser onto the skin, using a slow, circular motion. After it has had a chance to absorb into the skin, rinse away any residue with room temperature water. You may then apply toner and moisturizer to complete your skin treatment.
